Polymatech Electronics to lay foundation for semiconductor project worth Rs 1,143 crore in Nava Raipur
Semiconductor sector firm Polymatech Electronics is developing the first Gallium Nitride (GaN)-based semiconductor manufacturing unit in Nava Raipur. The Chhattisgarh state Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will lay the foundation stone for the project worth Rs 1,143 crore.
The new facility would best set with an ambitious production target of 10 billion chips annually by 2030. Gallium Nitride (GaN) is being seen as a game-changer in the semiconductor world as the chips made of it are faster, more energy-efficient, and highly durable, making them the ideal choice for next-gen technologies.
