Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station project: Work underway as part of Amrit Bharat scheme
Under the Indian Railways' ambitious Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS) the work on the redevelopment of Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station is going on. The Southern Railway's station will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, clean and spacious waiting areas, modern passenger-friendly amenities, and seamless multi-modal connectivity.
Joint Venture (JV) of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL)- KRDCL has emerged as the lowest Bidder (L1) for the project for the project worth Rs 4,38,95,66,136.98. The project is likely to be completed within 42 months from the date of start.
