Yewai to Kasheli water tunnel project: APCO Infratech emerges lowest bidder for the work
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has declared APCO Infratech as the lowest bidder (L one bidder) for the project to construct a new water conveyance tunnel from Yewai Master Balancing Reservoir to Kasheli (Bhiwandi).
The 14.1 km long tunnel will supply water to the eastern suburbs of Mumbai, while the existing network of pipelines will be utilized as a backup. APCO placed a bid of Rs 3577.51 crore for the project.
