JSW Group to develop copper mines in Jharkhand, plans investment worth Rs 2,600 crore
Business major JSW Group has plans to invest Rs 2,600 crore to develop and operate two copper mines and set up a copper concentrator plant in Jharkhand. With this, the firm marks its entry into the copper business.
JSW aims to reduce India's dependency on copper imports and support industrial growth, with mines expected to become partially operational in the latter half of 2026-27.
