PepsiCo plans to set new manufacturing plant at Tamil Nadu
Multinational beverage and food brand PepsiCo has plans to develop a manufacturing plant at Mannaparrai near Tiruchirapalli in Tamil Nadu. The firm has been allotted 28 acres of land at the Sipcot Industrial Park for the project.
The new plant would produce various snack items like potato chips. This comes after the Tamil Nadu government’s push to develop four food parks in the state, namely in Mannaparrai, Theni, Nagapattinam, and Tindivanam.
