3 Financial Model Proposed For Noida Film City
After the announcement by the Chief Minister of the Uttar Pradesh about creating a film city in Noida, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has suggested three financial models. YEIDA would also be doing a feasibility study for the 1000 acre proposed film city project. The 3 models suggested are:

Authority acting as developer and leasing it to individual applicantsÂ

Authority leasing the entire land parcel to one developer who then subleases to applicantsÂ

Authority developing it in a public-private partnership
The suggestions are initial and YEIDA would explore more options after the feasibility study is done. The CM while announcing the film city project said that the government is well aware of the present trend of OTT and media streaming platforms. He said that the state government has planned a high-capacity data center along with all pre-production and the post-production infrastructure, processing labs, VFX, and digital technology of the international level.Â
