Government to setup coal gasification projects worth Rs 64,000 crores
The Union Minister of Coal and Mines has informed the Rajya Sabha that the government has plans to develop 7 coal gasification projects with an investment of Rs 64,000 crores. According to the minister, the projects will be set up in Maharashtra, Odisha, and West Bengal.
This investment will help in reducing imports of energy products.
