WABAG bags contract for waste water projects in Bengaluru
Water treatment firm VA Tech WABAG Ltd has bagged new orders from Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB). According to the firm, the order falls in the large domestic orders category valued between Rs 250 crore and Rs 600 crore.
The work involves development of a 100 MLD sewage treatment plant (STP) and a 25 MLD tertiary treatment plant (TTP) at Byramangala, as well as a 60 MLD STP at Bellandur. The scope of work covers design, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the facilities, integrated with biogas-based captive power generation.
The completion period for the work is 36 months.
