Haldia Petrochemicals inaugurates new plant in West Bengal
Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd (HPL) has inaugurated an integrated phenol and acetone manufacturing plant in Haldia, West Bengal. HPL's subsidiary, Adperma Private Ltd, inaugurated the facility, developed with an investment of Rs 6,000 crore.
This new facility will have an annual production capacity of 3.45 lakh tonnes of phenol and 2.15 lakh tonnes of acetone, making it India's largest integrated plant of its kind. It is also the first phenol plant on the eastern coast.
