L&T bags large order from ONGC for project on west coast
Multinational engineering and infrastructure company Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a new order from state-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC). The order, which L&T has classified as “large”, involves the additional development of the Ratna-I (ADR-I) and NLM-14 projects in the Mumbai Offshore Basin, off India’s west coast.
The order will be executed by L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore). The scope of work includes engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) of three new well-head platforms, one riser platform, multiple sections of subsea pipelines and cables, as well as brownfield modifications to existing offshore installations.
According to L&T’s order classification, the value of the contract is estimated at Rs 2,500 crore to Rs 5,000 crore.
