EMS emerges lowest bidder for project worth Rs 219 crore in Rajasthan
Delhi-based engineering services firm EMS Ltd has emerged as the lowest bidder (L-1) for a project worth Rs 218.65 crore in Rajasthan. The tender was floated by the Directorate of Local Bodies, Government of Rajasthan, for the development of sewerage infrastructure.
The project involves sewerage and septage management works across six urban local bodies in the Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, and Churu districts. According to the company, the scope of work includes the construction of sewerage systems and sewage treatment plants (STPs), as well as the laying, jointing, testing, and commissioning of sewerage networks.
The project has an execution period of 18 months, followed by a one-year defect liability period and 10 years of operations and maintenance (O&M).
