Toyo Engineering bags contract for SAF project in Mangalore
Japanese engineering firm Toyo's Indian arm, Toyo Engineering India, has bagged a front-end engineering design (FEED) contract for M11 Industries’ sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) project in Mangalore.
The project will see the development of a hydroprocessed esters and fatty acids (HEFA)-based SAF facility that uses renewable feedstocks to produce sustainable aviation fuel. It will incorporate advanced processing technology, including HydroFlex™ developed by Topsoe. As per the updates, the FEED phase will establish the project’s engineering foundation and prepare it for subsequent development stages.
