Adilabad airport project: Union government grants in principle approval
The Union government has given an in-principle approval for the construction of a new airport at Adilabad. Responsibilities for the project will be divided between the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
As per the updates, the Defence Ministry will develop the main airport infrastructure, while Civil Aviation will manage the civilian enclave and operations.
