AM Green to setup biorefineries in Andhra Pradesh
Green hydrogen and green ammonia maker AM Green Group signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) worth Rs. 54,000 crore with the state government of Andhra Pradesh. The firm would invest Rs. 44,000 crore in Kakinada (Uppada) to set up a 1-million-tonne-per-annum Green Aluminium Complex in two phases.
The project would comprise one of the world’s largest RFNBO-compliant Green Ammonia facilities of the same scale. Another Rs 10,000 crore would be invested to establish multiple biorefineries of 2G ethanol and a 180 KTPA Sustainable Aviation Fuel plant across Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, and Anakapalli.
