Ashoka Buildcon bags order worth Rs 602 crore from RVNL
Nashik-based engineering and construction firm Ashoka Buildcon has secured a new order worth Rs 602.16 crore from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL). The contract involves the supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of electro-mechanical (E&M) systems for the Rishikesh-Karnprayag New Broad Gauge Rail Line Project in Uttarakhand.
According to Ashoka Buildcon, the scope of work includes the installation of 33/11kV and 11/0.433kV GIS substations, high-tension and low-tension (HT/LT) cabling, diesel generator sets, lighting, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, ventilation systems, firefighting systems, and associated works across Tunnels T-13, T-14, T-15, and T-16.
The project has a completion period of 30 months, followed by a two-year defect liability period.
