Bharat Future City: Telangana Government awards DPR work to Surbana Jurong
The Telangana Government has hired Singapore-based global consultancy Surbana Jurong to prepare the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the ambitious Bharat Future City. Spread over 30,000 acres, Bharat Future City will be India's first Net-Zero Greenfield Smart City.
The DPR will outline the zoning of various clusters across 15,000 acres, based on which the state government will allocate land for education, health, IT, AI, sports, film city facilities, and more.
