BHEL floats tender for solar projects in Uttar Pradesh
Public sector undertaking (PSU) Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has floated a tender inviting bids for solar projects in Uttar Pradesh. The tender is for setting up 1,300 kW of solar projects in Jhansi and Varanasi.
As per the tender, the total capacity comprises 800 kW at the BHEL Transformer Plant in Jhansi and 500 kW at the BHEL Heavy Equipment Repair Plant in Varanasi. The scope of work entails the design, development, installation, construction, synchronization, and commissioning of the solar projects, along with operation and maintenance services for the PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) period.
