BPCL gets 6,000 acres of land in Nellore for refinery project
Government-owned Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has been allocated 6,000 acres of land situated near Ramayyapatnam Port in Nellore District in Andhra Pradesh. The land is allocated for setting up a 9 to 12 MMTPA Greenfield Refinery cum Petrochemical Complex.
The project would take an investment worth Rs 1 lakh crore. Further, the Andhra Pradesh state government has given in-principle approval of total financial incentives to BPCL up to 75 percent of the capital expenditure over a period of 20 years from the commencement of project activities.
