Chennai Metro: CMRL floats tender for work related to Phase 1
The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has floated a tender inviting bids for the comprehensive maintenance of ballastless track across Chennai Metro Phase 1 and its Phase 1 Extension.
Work on Phase 1 comprises a 45 km network developed along two corridors-Washermenpet to Chennai International Airport and Chennai Central to St. Thomas Mount. While the Phase 1 extension would see work between Washermenpet and Wimco Nagar. As per the tender, the work covers elevated, underground, and depot sections.
