Daikin to setup R&D centre in Manesar
Japanese air conditioner maker Daikin is developing a new global research and development hub in India at Manesar, Haryana. The new Research and Development (R&D) centre will serve as a hub for next-generation cooling technologies, marking a pivotal enhancement of its innovation efforts.
The project is set to be completed by June 2028, with the new subsidiary set for incorporation in July 2026. As per the updates, the new subsidiary will be backed by an initial capital investment of approximately Rs 8 billion.
