Government clear projects worth over Rs 41,863 crores
The central government has cleared 22 new projects worth Rs 41,863 crore. These projects are cleared under the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme and are expected to generate production worth Rs 2,58,152 crore.
According to the government, the scheme aims to strengthen India’s electronics supply chain and reduce dependence on imports by expanding domestic component manufacturing. These projects encompass various sectors, including mobile phones, telecom equipment, consumer electronics, IT hardware, automobiles, and strategic electronics.
