Government planning to float tenders for 1 GW wind energy projects
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) is re-evaluating its plan to float tenders for 1 GW wind energy projects. As per The Economic Times, the ministry is consulting with global bodies to boost wind sector investments.
Further updates say that the policy for 25 MW hydro projects is expected to be launched soon.
