Gurugram Metro: Haryana Government clears 1,662 crore for phase 2
The state government of Haryana has approved Rs 1,662 crore for the civil works package for Gurugram Metro Phase 2. According to Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL), the package covers a 15.3-km elevated corridor from Sector 9 to DLF Cyber City and will have 14 stations. These stations are: Sector 7, Sector 4, Sector 5, Sector 3, Ashok Vihar, Bajghera Road, Palam Vihar Extension, Palam Vihar, Sector 23A, Sector 22, Udyog Vihar, and DLF Cyber City.
2 km of the Phase 2 alignment will use flyover-cum-Metro structures, which are planned along Old Delhi Road and Bajghera Road, where the Metro viaduct will be constructed above road traffic.
