HFCL plans to set new product manufacturing factory
Telecommunications equipment manufacturer HFCL has received approval from its board to set up a data centre connectivity products manufacturing facility with an investment of Rs 215 crore.
While the location of the facility has not yet been disclosed, it will manufacture advanced data centre connectivity products, including Miniature Multi-Fiber (MMC) and Super High-Density Multi-Fiber Termination (SNMT) assemblies, which are widely used in high-speed data centres and AI infrastructure.
The proposed facility will have an annual production capacity of 2,70,000 assemblies and is expected to be commissioned by September 2027.
