Hyderabad Metro: L&T plans to divest entire stake in the entity
Multinational business conglomerate Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is set to sell its entire stake in L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited. The sale would be done at a consideration amount of Rs 1,461.47 crores.
As per The Economic Times, the firm has signed a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) with Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited, a Government of Telangana Enterprise, for the disposal of its entire shareholding. Post-sale, L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited will no longer be a subsidiary of L&T. This divestment is estimated to be completed by June 30, 2026.
