Indian Railways approves project worth over Rs 166 crore in Vadodara
Indian Railways (IR) has given its nod to the construction of a four-lane Road Over Bridge (ROB) at Alkapuri in Gujarat’s Vadodara division of Western Railway. The project is estimated to cost Rs 166.5 crore and will be built above a railway track.
Indian Railways and the Gujarat state government will each contribute about Rs 83.28 crore to the project. The ROB will replace the current road arrangement and allow vehicles to cross the railway line without waiting at the level crossing.
