Inner ring road project: PMRDA to acquire land soon
Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has informed that it would commence land acquisition for the first phase of the proposed 82-km inner ring road at the end of this month. As per PMRDA around 19.08 hectares will be acquired from three villages - Nirgudi, Solu, and Wadgaon Shinde - to construct the first stretch of 4.8 km from Solu to Wadgaon Shinde.
The work of the proposed inner ring road will be carried out in phase-wise and a proposal has been sent by the PMRDA to the district administration to commence land acquisition. A total of 589.02 hectares will be acquired for the proposed inner ring road.
