MMRDA floats tender for access controlled highway
Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has floated tenders for access-controlled highways. The proposed highway will directly connect Mumbai and Navi Mumbai to the suburban towns of Kalyan and Badlapur.
The project is expected to reduce travel time and drastically ease congestion within the cities. The current tender involves appointing of project consultants and inviting detailed project reports.
