Telangana CM lays foundation for Osmania hospital complex
The Chief Minister of Telangana A Revanth Reddy has performed the foundation-laying ceremony for a new building complex of Osmania General Hospital (OGH) at Goshamahal in Hyderabad. The new complex would be about 2 km from the existing hospital complex.
The project is estimated to cost Rs 2,700 crore and is expected to be ready in two years. For the project, the state government is utilizing 26 of the 38 acres, originally belonging to the police department for the hospital complex, while leaving the remaining 11 acres to the police department.
