Jabalpur outer ring road: Project worth Rs 3,450 crores underway in Madhya Pradesh
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) is undertaking a major infrastructure project in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The Ministry is undertaking the development of a 114-km four-lane greenfield corridor called the Jabalpur outer ring road project at a cost of Rs 3,450 crores.
This project is aimed at decongesting the city while improving the logistical connection between the states of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra. As per ET Infra.com, the project is divided into 5 packages. These packages connect key areas including Barela, Manegaon, Shahpura, Kushner, and Amjhar.
The scope of work further covers 14 major bridges, 37 minor bridges, four railway overbridges, three flyovers, elevated structures, multiple underpasses, and nearly 332 culverts.
