JSW joins hand with Posco to set steel plant in Odisha, would invest Rs 65,000 crore
Steel major JSW Group has signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) with South Korean steel maker Posco to jointly develop a steel plant in Odisha's Dhinkia. The 12 MTPA steel project would be jointly developed by the two firms.
The firms have also planned to set up an integrated steel manufacturing complex in Paradip which would comprise a steel plant with 13.2 MTPA capacity, a cement factory, a captive power unit, and a cargo handling facility.
