JSW MG Motor plans to develop new manufacturing plant in Halol
Automobile maker JSW MG Motor has plans to develop a new manufacturing plant as a part of its expansion strategy. The plan is to launch its second plant in Gujarat for the production of new models.
The firm is expected to invest around Rs 3,000 crores on the project, which is likely to be financed by multiple funding instruments. Halol is the proposed location for the project that will be developed in a phase-wise manner and will have a production capacity of about 110,000–120,000 units annually.
