Karnataka Government clears project worth Rs 7,506 crore
State Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC) of the Government of Karnataka has cleared industrial projects worth Rs 7,506 crore. The government has cleared 55 projects, of which 41 will be located outside Bengaluru Urban and Bengaluru Rural districts.
This is part of the state government's Beyond Bengaluru initiative to spread the fruits of development across the state. 35 projects involve investments of more than Rs 50 crore each, while another 15 projects will attract investments ranging between Rs 15 crore and Rs 50 crore. Further, 5 expansion projects involve an investment of Rs 223.61 crore.
The majority of projects are in the aerospace, Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM), and general engineering sectors.
