Manufacturing capacity expansion planned by Yaragatti Sugars
Yaragatti Sugars has plans to expand the manufacturing capacity of its grain/cane juice/molasses-based distillery. The plant located in M Chandragi village, Ramdurg taluka in Belagavi would see capacity expansion from 120 klpd to 400 klpd.
Capacity expansion will also include the setting up of a 10,000 tccpd sugar factory and a 45 MW cogeneration power plant. The firm expects to commence work on the project by January 2024 and complete it by December 2024.
