Nagpur Metro: RVNL emerges lowest bidder for contract related to phase 2
Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (Maha-Metro or MMRCL) has declared Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL) as the lowest bidder (L one bidder) to construct civil package C6 of the 43.8 km Nagpur Metro Phase 2 project. The scope of work involves the construction of 10 elevated metro stations on the 19.4 km Aqua Line‘s new 6.6 km western extension (Reach 3A) and 5.5 km eastern extension (Reach 4A).
RVNL placed a bid of Rs 255 crore for the project. This bid was below Maha-Metro’s estimate of Rs. 307.34 crore,
