Bharat Dynamics lays foundation for naval manufacturing facility in Anakapalli
Government-owned ammunition and missile systems manufacturer Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has laid the foundation for a naval systems manufacturing facility in Anakapalli, Andhra Pradesh.
The project, estimated to cost Rs 500 crore, spans 160 acres. It will house a manufacturing complex that will include advanced assembly infrastructure, integration buildings, explosive handling and storage facilities, testing systems, and acoustic tank infrastructure. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the project last week on Friday.
