Vadhvan Port project: Afcons Infrastructure emerges lowest bidder for project worth over Rs 5,301 crores
Construction engineering company Afcons Infrastructure has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1 bidder) for a contract related to the Vadhvan port project. The contract is for the development of a 10.14 km-long breakwater for the new major port coming up at Vadhvan. This will be the longest breakwater for an Indian port project.
The firm has placed a bid of Rs 5,301.25 crores, which is close to the estimate of Rs 5,111 crores.
