Peripheral ring road project: TNRDC floats tenders for final stretch
The Tamil Nadu Road Development Corporation (TNRDC) has floated tenders inviting bids for the final stretch of the 133-km Chennai Peripheral Ring Road (CPRR). This tender is for the final 30 km.
The project is estimated to cost Rs 15,000 crores, and it would link Mahabalipuram with Ennore via Singaperumal Koil, Sriperumbudur, and Tiruvallur. As per TNRDC, the work on the last stretch will start shortly and be completed within two years, followed by a 7-year maintenance period.
