PM Modi launches projects worth Rs 2,700 crores in Puducherry
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on his visit to Puducherry on Sunday (1st March, 2026), launched multiple projects worth Rs 2,700 crores. The projects launched by the PM are:
- Launch of electric buses under the PM e?Bus Seva Initiative
- Launch of the Integrated Command and Control Centre under the Smart City Mission
- Launch of sewerage and drinking water infrastructure projects of the Government of Puducherry
- Inauguration of Composite Engineering Block — Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Block — and Ganga Hostel at the National Institute of Technology, Karaikal
- Inauguration of the modernisation of the Regional Cancer Centre at JIPMER
- Launch of 750?acre Karasur–Sedarapet Industrial Estate
