Race for acquiring JM Baxi Ports & Logistics sees Temasek, EQT among others
The race for acquiring minority stakes in JM Baxi group firm, JM Baxi Ports & Logistics is witnessing big names in the race. Canadian fund CPP Investments (CPPIB), Singapore's government-owned Temasek, and Swedish buyout firm EQT are among the suitors.
The logistic firm is planning to raise about Rs 3,000-3,300 crore, including Rs 1,200-1,500 crore by selling fresh shares. Existing investor Bain Capital will sell the remaining shares.
