Station redevelopment project: Mangaluru station redevelopment cost revised to Rs 95 crores
Southern Railway has informed of a cost revision regarding the Mangaluru Central Railway Station redevelopment work. As per the Palakkad division of Southern Railway, the project will now cost Rs 95 crores instead of the Rs 340 crores that was put forward in the proposal.
Lifts, Escalators, surface parking, and other facilities will be provided under the redevelopment project. Further, the work involves work on two staking lines and one island platform. As per updates on ET Infra.com, the project is awaiting final sanction from the headquarters.
