Tamil Nadu government looking to connect Hosur with Karnataka through metro rail
The state government of Tamil Nadu is looking to connect Hosur to Bommasandra in Karnataka via a metro rail link. The state's Finance Minister N Marie Wilson said they are pursuing a proposal for a metro rail from Hosur, Krishnagiri district, to Bommasandra in Karnataka with both the Government of India and the Government of Karnataka.
Meanwhile, Rs 63,246 crore has been allocated in the budget for the construction of Phase II of the Chennai Metro Rail Project, spanning 118.9 km.
