Tata Power to invest Rs 49000 crore in Andhra Pradesh
The clean energy arm of Tata Power, Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL) has signed an MoU with the Andhra Pradesh government to develop renewable energy projects worth Rs 49000 crore in the state.
The plan involves building up to 7,000 MW of solar, wind, and hybrid projects under the state’s Integrated Clean Energy Policy. This would be one of the largest renewable energy investments in the southern state.
