L&T bags order from power and transmission vertical
The Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business has secured orders related to infrastructure projects in India and international markets. According to the firm, it has secured a contract to build 765kV and 400kV transmission lines linked to a Renewable Energy Zone in Uttar Pradesh.
Further, it backed an order for the turnkey construction of a 400kV transmission line in southern India. International orders include:
Order from Saudi Arabia for a 380kV Gas gas-insulated substation (GIS), which will include the installation of associated reactors and hybrid GIS bays.
The order to develop a new 220/33kV grid station along with other related infrastructure in Abu Dhabi.
As per L&T's criteria, the order value lies between Rs 2,500 crore and Rs 5,000 crore.
