DLF to develop 75 lakh sq ft retail and office space in Gurugram
Real estate major DLF has plans to invest around Rs 6,000 crore to construct 75 lakh square feet of prime office and retail spaces in Gurugram. This comes as the firm aims to meet demand for high-quality green commercial properties, with increased rental income from higher occupancy and rent appreciation.
The firm's joint venture (JV), DLF Cyber City Developers Ltd (DCCDL), with Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC, has commenced construction of 5.5 million (55 lakh) square feet of Grade A plus office spaces in the new phase of its ultra-premium commercial project DLF Downtown, Gurugram. DLF holds a 67% stake in JV.
