Hindustan Power signs MoU to invest Rs 620 crore in Assam
Independent power producer Hindustan Power has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of Assam to invest Rs 620 crore to set up solar and battery storage projects.
As per the statement, the firm would drive the development of a 100 MW solar power plant alongside a battery energy storage system. Hindustan Power would invest Rs 500 crore for the solar plant and another Rs 120 crore for the battery storage facility.
