Toyota Motor plans to develop 3 vehicle assembly plants in Maharashtra
Japanese multinational automotive company, Toyota Motor Corporation, has plans to develop 3 vehicle assembly plants in Maharashtra. The firm will invest 300 billion yen, which is around Rs 18.2 crores, to increase production capacity in India to about 1 million units.
As per the inputs from Manufacturing Today, the firm stated that no final decision has been made regarding the construction of new facilities. However, it continues to review production strategies in collaboration with regional stakeholders.
