Union Road and Highways Minister Gadkari announces Rs 508 crore allocation for highway projects in West Bengal
Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has announced the allocation of Rs 508.66 crore for strengthening and selective widening of two national highways in West Bengal’s Birbhum district.
According to the minister, the allocation is for stretches of NH-14 and NH-114 covering 91.90 km of NH-14 from Bhimgarh to Nalhati via Mallarpur and 56.40 km of NH-114 from Surul Village to Mallarpur. The scope of work involves strengthening the existing highway stretches and widening selected sections to improve their capacity and overall road conditions.
