Vanya Steels to invest Rs 100 crore for developing waste to energy plant in Koppal
Steel and metal sector firm Vanya Steels has plans to set up a 10 MW waste-to-energy power plant at Koppal, Karnataka. The firm will invest Rs 100 crore in the project, which is expected to be operational by July 31, 2025.
The plant would utilize waste heat recovery boiler technology to convert industrial waste heat into clean electricity.
