Vikram Solar signs MoU worth over Rs 15,037 crore for manufacturing facility in Tirunelveli
Clean energy firm Vikram Solar has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of Tamil Nadu. The MoU is for the development of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing facility at the SIPCOT Industrial Park in Gangaikondan, Tirunelveli.
The proposed project will require an investment of Rs 15,037 crore. As per the updates, the MoU was signed in the presence of the Tamil Nadu state chief minister C. Joseph Vijay.
